Activity 3
Vietnam Vets
1. The story is about veterans trying to raise awareness by having a motorcycle ride.
2. Each photo contributes to the story because in the first picture it shows the setting, the next shows a group of men on motorcycles. The next pictures are portraits which can show immense emotion, being that they look very serious. The last picture which is the detailed picture shows pins that are on the man's vest. This shows the viewer that they have earned medals.

Man Dying
1. The story is about a grandfather that is passing away. His grandson is watching him closely and sees him gain his wings and go to heaven.
2. The story could still be communicated using the first and last photos. In the first photo it shows the grandfather in bed and the child is watching him. In the last photograph, it shows that the bed is empty and the child is looking for something out the window. This could effectively tell the story in that the grandfather left the child and the kid is upset yearning for him.
3. If I had to take out one photo from the story, I would pick the one of the man halfway through the window.
4. In the picture before he is waving to the child to say goodbye. In the last photo it shows the kid looking out the window for him. This implies that he left the child, so there doesn't have to be an action shot of the man going out the window.
